Kiser Middle School shares its garden experiences!

Julia Moore, 6th grade language arts teacher
Hello!
Kiser Middle School received a grant from Lowe's May 2014. We were already in the process of growing our 1st school garden at that point. The grant allowed us to have a gardening club this year as well as  do a fall and spring harvest. (Summer veggies are currently in bloom). We held two family fun night events. In the fall, we gave out the sweet potatoes that we grew. This past April, we made salads from the veggies we harvested form the garden. This has been an amazing experience...
Can't wait to see what they do this fall!
